On the first day of the year I was back in my craft room. I posted this question, "Do I start all the new projects I have planned or do I finish up some of the ones quietly waiting to be complete?" I am sure I am not the only one who starts projects and doesn't finish. Sometimes I set a project aside because I am not happy with how it is turning out, it becomes too hard, or I just get bored with it. Thank you Jesus that none of this applies to the work you began in me.
I remembered the scripture Philippians 1:6," I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
I am the Lord's creation, you are the Lord's creation. He made you and me, all of us unique and with a purpose. He doesn't set us aside when we are not turning out the way He planned at the moment. He continues to whisper to us and sometimes hollers for us. He is always pursuing us.Â
Nothing is too hard for the Lord and He never ever gets bored with us. He delights in us. He runs to us. He sees the deep in us, the true us, the us He created to be. Surrender to Him today and choose to allow Him to complete the work He has started in you. The Lord always keeps His promises. Selah.
