It's a Monday morning here. And it's a Monday after a huge holiday, which means the store needs a big time display refresh. While I was buzzing around changing the displays I left some places empty, remembering that we are either ordering or awaiting orders with beautiful merchandise that will fill these empty holes in the display, items intentionally selected just for you to fall in love with.
If you have shopped with us in-store, sometimes you come into the store and each display is full, specially placed, curated, and designed. In perfect condition. Other times you come in and there are holes. Things may look incomplete and in process. What you don't see is the entire vision board brimming with beauty and carefully selected items to fill those holes. The holes are in the waiting. Waiting for just the right inventory to fill those very spots. So we leave it empty in anticipation of its arrival and your excitement.
God reminded me today, that sometimes that's how I see things. Empty holes that need filling, when in reality God is working behind the scenes to fill those holes with purposeful, meaningful things that take time to arrive. Don't know if this helps you, but it helped me this morning. So I'll try so hard to resist filling the holes of life with temporary, fleeting things. I'll wait patiently for God to fill those holes with His things that take time. God is so good and He's not done with me. He's not done, molding, changing, and forming me..and He's not done with you.Â
Blessings.Â
